Assistance Dogs Graduation Ceremony Perth

Recently, I had the great fortune to photograph the celebration and the wonderful achievements of Assistance Dogs Australia Graduation Ceremony held in Forest Place in the city. The celebration was also about the special people who have dedicated their time, talent and love throughout the two-year journey to help the dogs become fully qualified Assistance Dogs.

The graduation which is held in every state capital celebrates the official union of the Super Pups with the new owner that have been meticulously and thoughtfully paired with, and the beginning of their new lives as an Assistance Dog. These dogs assist and help people with varied needs, such as, Physical Disability, Dementia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders. After listening to the stories, these dogs do a wonderful service helping these people.

Assistance Dogs Ambassador and client, Tim McCallum (of The Voice fame), and I've got to say, WOW what a voice, MC'd the event and entertained the audience and guests with his wit and singing performance.

After the ceremony, many of the guests and invited audience moved to the Aviary, where there was food and refreshments provided, and time to relax and enjoy a catch up with friends and acquaintances.
